Whats the pros and cons of Hard modding with a modchip and Soft modding with DAX's OEs? What can you do more with? If you use a modchip isn't it almost brick proof? What are the best modchips out there for the PSP Also would you recommend both. And Im not on a TA-082 Mobo Im on an original. Thx for the advice in advance.

Hard modding with a mod chip can save your ass if you ever fully brick.

Soft modding with OE saves your ass whenever you semi-brick.

hard mod=brick proof and reflash whenever u want to, so you could switch between any sony firmware/custom firmware whenever u want to whether or not its downgrade able
    soft mod=semi brick proof
but hard modding takes some mad soldering skills

Damn.. I should put my soldering skills on ebay.

There is no need for the mod chip unless you like to mess around with your psp a lot.
