I am trying to remove the silver tray that holds the LCD.
In the above image, the circled screw on the right is what I need to remove. I have a TA-082 psp. This one screw is black, instead of silver, like the other ones. This one screw will not unscrew with my Craftsman phillips #000 screwdriver, unlike all of the silver screws. I think that maybe this screw is only black in TA-082 psps.

What screwdriver # should I buy to unscrew the screw on the right? This screw is black in my psp, and slightly different, so the #000 one will not work.

Nope, I have seen both TA-079 & TA-081 PSPs with that black screw and it does unscrew. You also don't need to unscrew the screw on the right of that picture to take off the tray, that's incorrect. Use a different screwdriver, perhaps bigger?

    mmmhmmm...

The only small phillips screwdriver I have is a #000. And it is starting to strip the screw's head, so I want to know what # screwdriver I need. I don't want to strip my screw...
