    so i was reading the last couple days that the new PSP is gonna be more slim,and have a redesigned D-pad,a new LCD screen,and 8 GB's of memory built in....that sounds great,but will it have the same kind of motherboards so they can be hacked easily?or will they have new kinds of motherboards that are gonna take along time to figure out how to hack? i guess well find out when they get releases....i was just wondering what your thoughs would be on this new PSP and if its gonna be hackable or not.?

    PSP --> 2.71 -> 1.50 --> 3.40 OE-A --> 3.52 M33-4 --> 3.71 M33-2 --> 3.71 M33-4.

    It could be released with a new mobo (TA-090 ?) or it could be released with a new firmware in secret until the launch day, but who knows? It will be released in September, and we won't know 'til then.

    Sony's calling it "?" for now.
    I hope so, since it will render the current psp "unpopular"

    I don't get what you mean. I put the question mark there to say that it might be called a TA-090 (the motherboard).

    I still think it won't happen.

    And if it does, say goodbye to homebrew.

    Amen to modchips, and to those who can install them ;)

    I doubt I could, I'm a novice when it comes to soldering and have you seen detailed instructions on how to install them?
    If you have you would know how difficult it is..

    I think Sony will also do something about the ModChips, like if it's going to be lite as if there is going to be enough room for a ModChip there was barely enough in the original psp.
