    I'm not sure what to pick on this because they all got about a equal chance of getting bricked if you don't follow the proper instructions for downgrading them.

    Except I wouldn't want 3.51 or above at the moment because they aren't downgradable yet

    Recovery doesnt really affect the frequency of bricks. It just affects whether some of those bricks stay bricked.

    1.5 flashing can go bad and there to nothing to fix it

    and 2.6-2.80 you DONT read the readme and use the wrong downgrder for you MB
    you DONT run the idchanger and downgrade

    PSP 1.5 got on USA first day is was 1.5 NOW 4.01 M33-2 -> 5.00 M33-6(1.50 addon),
    Old PS3s: PS3 60GB FW:3.41(2nd ps3 YLoD, 1st, YLoD)
    New PS3:
    Slim 160gb 01-21-2011 Working
    was 3.40 OFW->3.60 OFW

    2nd PSP : PHAT 5.50 GEN-D2
    3rd PSP : Sliver 3000 Starting OFW:4.20 (NEW bought NEW on 11/28/2010)
    It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

    ... so it affects the rate of permanent bricks.

    Which is exactly what I said.

    EDIT: actually, Im wrong :o . Recovery Mode increases the frequency of bricks. People brick, unbrick with Recovery, then brick again. If you didn't have recovery, You'd brick once and never brick again.
