Since this will show up on the homepage, at least for a little while, and there are probably people wondering WTF happened to psp-hacks, I'm posting this in the hope that it might help someone.

Check out these threads for more details:

While I'm sure everyone here is super awesome and never had a problem, not everyone is that computer savvy...

Don't worry, I'm still a good boy who hates noobs and everything, but given that Javascript is pretty much a necessity on the net and that psp-hacks is useless unless you disable it, or use the right add-ons in Firefox, the current setup of the site with the Ford ads is ridiculous...

I'm a sysadmin who has to deal with the same stupid questions (usually asked repeatedly by the same people) every day, so I understand the disdain for people who never do anything with their computer except turn it on and just expect it to work without any sort of updates or maintenance, but nobody is born with the ability to use a computer, everybody was a noob at some point and if this helps someone put themselves right, then I'll be happy...

I know, I know...I only noticed the problem when I saw one of the threads on it, so I installed IE7, bleccchhh...to see what the deal was...

If you don't know what you're doing with a computer, I'm sure a lot of members would rather you be banned from the site, which is what the current setup basically does...

If this continues to happen I will quit using this board...and I started on this board. The owner needs to fix this by getting rid of those troublesome adds.

I will not disable anything just to view this site and I'm not installing anything..The site was working great until today for me. So if it continues and the owner of psp-hacks cares more about the adds then the people on his site I will stop coming. max consoles works fine for me if it has too.

i disagree i have multiple adblocker and popup blockers for ie and somehow somekind of program on my comp makes ie open 50 popups for porn to selling houses in a matter of 5 mins

firefox allows no popups unless you alow the site to pop it up. i like that. ie works great when you dont have malicious software.
