I heard a rumor that they were going to release a battery cover that would accomodate the original batteries...if they do, then it would presumably also support the Extended Life battery...

2200 maH would be a huge improvement over 1200...

I'm sure sony will release an extended battery for the slim in time...having one side of the psp thicker due to a regular battery doesn't seem like a good idea. The slim battery lasts a very long time even with a lot of use in one day. In terms though of using the regular battery as a pandora battery...that does work perfectly with the slim!

The phat battery fits in the slim really snug. You have to use a bit of force to get it out. It doesn't really stick out that bad maybe a 1/4in.

You can say that again. I borrowed a friend's PSP and I thought I was going to break something taking the battery out and that was after wondering if it was going to come out at all.

I'm just interested in how much extra battery life you could get out of the fat PSP extended battery if you put it in the Slim. Should almost double it...
