    Hi guys,

When converting videos I normally use psp video9 (version 0.46c) as it offers so many options for you to manipulate the outcome. I have the settings very high, with the sound boosted to 300%, everything is great. last night I downloaded the latest version of psp video9 and things have changed a bit, the real option that made me want the latest version is the ability to convert video files to full res (480x272 I believe). But the program is giving me hell!

Whenever I convert the files and put them on the psp, they are an unsupported format. All the settings are correct and my files are put in the right place on the mem stick but the video cannot be read. the only option that did work is when I chose a preconfigured profile (768kbps) basically shit sound, blurred picture, low volume and NOT at 480x272.

I know the latest version usually will have a few bugs but not so that you actually cannot use the program! has anyone used psp video9 a lot? and put the sttings to an ok standard at 480x272 AND been able to view it? cos to me its just completely screwed up!

I use xvid4psp. The encoding takes longer but the options available and the final quality is better.

i found psp movie converter had better outcome and speed, psp 9 gave way too many options that not needed and no better.
