    hi all just asking a simple question here. i have both a fat and a slim psp. however i noticed that the square button on both of them are softer compared to the triangle, circle and X button. how many of you have the same problem as me?

    its not really a problem

    mines not that noticeable, but my square button is not softer but feels different than the other buttons

    ok not really softer but the spring is lesser, and with the slim the button is soft of like not firmly positioned. it can be pushed around. the other buttons are very firmly positioned, and they cant be moved at all

    nope
    mine seems to be fine on both the fat and the slim

    maybe its because you tend to use the square too often? XD
    in fact i think my square is harder then the triangle for the slim one
    for the fat one, i did some mod on the buttons so they feel more responsive

    If what you're trying to say is "[] is crammed next to the screen so it doesn't have the same backing or shape like the other buttons" you're correct. Pop the hood and find out what you're driving yourself.

    Yeah i have a problem with the square, if i push it into the hole, it gets stuck there sometimes, but most new psps dont have this problem though. The other buttons are okay.

    Yeah, I know what you mean. On all the PSP's I've seen you can see a little thin metal bar under the [] button on the left hand side of it...

    i had the problem but i did a little soft modding on the buttons and the dpad now they feel great and are way more responsive
    been gone awhile
