    Long story short; I'm leaving for Japan this Saturday (well, sunday morning..but it's still night anyway...)

    I'll be staying with a friend of mine, who also has a psp. (well, her dad does anyway.)
    anyway, moving along. just wondering if i should bring my charger or are psp chargers compatible regardless of region.

    A few things come to mind with this;

    1/(i've studied a bit of electronics as part of school curriculum, but never had much interest in it.) anyway, Australia is.. 340v I believe, not sure about Japan. But there would be a difference I'm assuming.
    Don't know how that would affect it if the charger did work.

    2. If it works, it'll save me bringing my charger and buying a australian->japan power adapter.

    3. (same question to ds)

    thanks in adv.

    I do note believe you should have any reason to think it will not work.

    On the PSP charger there is a "box thing" that converts the current and voltage to suit the PSP. I recall, it shows how much voltage and amperes that the PSP takes in during charging. I don't think there should be any difference between countries and PSP chargers, aside from the plug (which can easily be solved with those internation plug adapters).
