    hi everyone,
i'm new to this forum, and ive read through most of the help topics, but im still not quite sure about something.

ive just ordered a psp off ebay, which's firmware version is 3.71M33.

if i want to put psp isos onto the memory card to play them, do i need to downgrade the software, or make a pandoras battery or anything?

    thanks

archiyukin, it doesnt matter if you have a fat or a slim they both play iso's/cso's, he said its 3.71, he said its M33 meaning its custom. No more info is needed. Reading is a great help.

@the4d, your lucky, nothing is needed to be done. Its already got the right firmware. Just, when you get an ISO/CSO, chuck it in the ISO folder on your memory stick

thanks blade_punk, do i need to make a correctly named folder? or can i just put it in any folder on the card?

*edit* also, does anyone have a link to photo of a fat psp?
or can tell me any obvious visual differences other than size and weight?

sorry Blade_punk, maybe i got confused. but you are right.:)

the obvious difference between slim and fat is the placement of the speakers. fat's speakers are on the bottom part of the psp. while the slim's speakers are on top.

Yeah, the slim will have the speakers on the front of the PSP, about half a center meter from the top of the screen. and the ISO folder goes in X:/, X being the drive letter. As in, when you connect the PSP to the computer and go to My Computer and open the memory stick the immediate folder your in is the one the ISO folder goes in. Pretty bad explaination but im not thinking straight at the moment :P

i think i know what you mean, like putting the ISO onto the root folder, like not making a folder and just putting the game directly onto the card.
