According to psp-italia ,dark alex has discovered the new motherboard him self,it blocks access to the battery’s eeprom.

edit:its seems that dark alex did not discover it ,but the main news is correct.

There has been in some places news about "New PSP motherboards prevent users from creating Pandora batteries"

They mention that it was discovered by me. The main news is correct, but it was not me who discovered it. I would ask psp sites to correct the information. Thanks.

yup, u cant make pandora batterys on them yet pandora's battery will work on them.
also, in 3.80 sony doesnt allow u to write IPL's with psp's anymore.
also, there is now batterys that cannot be softmodded into service mode.

Sony blocked the ability for the PSP to write any ipl to the MS. Well, some of those homebrew coders can get around it, while others can't..

Well that sounds like a challenge, all the Homebrewers will be chaffing at the bit to get hold of one of these so called blocking boards. Good luck to them and hopefully their will be a solution soon.
