Whats up guys, sorry if this is asked 2000 times but i didnt find a thread answering it exactly.

I am thinking of buying a psp model 1001 with "latest" custom firmware installed. What i wasnt sure is are these hacked/custom PSPs still able to use the internet browser and remote play? Cause remote play is a big deciding factor with me.

    Thanks in advanced! :D

:/ they have the same controls...and phats can use the 1.5 kernel, which makes homebrew a whole lot simpler

    Heres a simple Breakdown:
    Official Firmware:
    Phat: Boned
    Slim: Less Boned

    Custom Firmware:
    Phat:
    Allows for IR keyboard support.
Supports 1.5 Kernel, makes homebrew alot easier and varied
Some older homebrew isnt supported, and doesnt run on the new 3.xx kernel.
    With Pandora,no chances of bricking.

    Slim:
Double ram,so it can load things faster
TVOut: I suppose its good if you want to play MonsterHunter on a big screen...
    ONLY 3.xx kernel homebrew.
UMD cache: neat thing allows for less sucky UMD gaming.
Even with Pandora, slight chance of bricking.
PSP:371-2M33.4GB, CCNA Grad I am nerdier than 99% of all people. Are you a nerd?
