What would you say the best psp media player would be? I have a ton of media files, all in different formats, avi, mpg, wmv, mp3, m4a, wma, etc.

I've tested a few players out but nothing that seemed really good and nothing that I found that worked well with irshell.

    any recommendations?

Do what BCman said and use the XMB player..

XVid4PSP and PSP Video 9 can convert videos easily.

yeah I could do that but I really wanted to use nethostfs since all my video is stored on a nas. I messed around with pimpstreamer and that works to some degree, some formats it doesn't like and at times can get laggy. I heard you can stream some stuff using the rss feed option in xmb. Has anyone done anything like that? Sounds cool since then I could stream my stuff over the internet.

I'll mess around with converting some stuff and see how that goes. It will be kind of a PITA to keep 2 copies of stuff though..original and psp format.

I guess I'm somewhat spoiled since I'm an XBMC freak. Seems like my xbox can play any media I throw at it and it also can natively see network shares (my nas) and stream music, video off it like a pro.

Now if I could just make that portable...
