i really didnt think this was something that needed to be written but after seeing the threads i decided to write this up, this was also posted in this thread: http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/view...?id=134125&p=3

theoretically this will allow you to carry 16 gigabytes of storage with you at all times, that number is based on three 4gb sticks in umd and one 4gb stick in reader = 16gb or if your lucky enough to have 4*8gb = 32 gigabytes on the go, un-freakin-heard of

just get a umd and use a razor to open the seem on the right side(open side) of the umd, slide out the disc but becarefull to not pry the case open too much, once the disc is out you can fit three memory sticks in it.

WARNING: when you put the umd-memory stick holder in the drive it will try to spin up the umd for about 45 seconds, but after that it stops and doesnt try to spin up again unless you reboot your psp, I Dont Know if this will hurt anything but its worked fine for me for years.

if you put the sticks in so that the 45 degree angled corner is against the white rim of the umd the sticks fit ultra snuggly and do not rattle at all

i mean really how much trouble is it to slide the disc out, but to each their own.

i prefer to not spend money when i have a perfectly useless sample disc laying around.
this quick tut was for the folks in the other thread who were acting like they never heard of this before

EDIT: ohsnap do you have one of thoose yet or are we still waiting for them to hit stores, i ask because i want to know if the drive spins up when you put that in?

I rather spend some money then to take the risk of damaging my ms. But since you said it works so well then don't take my word for it.
