AHh i'm so frustrated :( know what i did? I had waaaay too much homebrew and other crap on my PSP and so i wanted to reformat my mem-stick, so i backed up all my game files (Socom: FTB2, GTA liberty stories, stuff like that) and this was also becausei wanted to fix irshell. So when i was ready to reformat, i made sure i had everything, then i reformated, and when i did i put all the games back on and all was well when i started up GTA and realized that the game was at the start, so i went in to load AND NOTHING WAS THERE! so i just remembered i hadn't backed up ANY of my game save files  and so now i forget my Socom online account password because i used to do fast login, i lost all my monster Hunter freedom 2, Worms, ARGH.... :'( i wish reformats would write a little document that could restore all the stuff you delete. I was so far in monster hunters now my friend'll be like fire it up and i'll be like :o ;)

    Unlucky

Regular backing up of savedata is a good thing, shame it usually takes a loss for peeps to learn to backup.

Yup. I've had that happen to me. Pretty bad feeling when you realized after all that time you spent, you have to go over it all again...

Scribble = Idk, if someone randomly punched in the STOMACH it wouldn't really hurt, especially if it was a girl. I think though, it's because I have lots of stomach muscle and that my stomach would automatically flex.

I did that same thing to a friend making a UPMS stick for him. (Back when it was PUMS, and you did the install by hand)

Also, all you had to do to fix IRShell was to do the patch..

Isn't there a recovery tool to recover file s from a reformat?

Yeah.... There are certain programs (Tuneup Utilities, Recover My File etc.) that can recover files from your memory stick after you format. Success isn't guaranteed though.

That happened to me a few months back. I was modding my friend's PSP, and I left my card in his PSP (it had all the updates/downgraders/backup utilites on it, as well as all my ISOs/savedata/etc.). I started formatting 'his card' until I looked on my desk and I saw his card laying there. I yelled 'shit!' and instantly googled utilities on how to restore lost data....didn't find anything. I'm still at 26% in GTA VCS. :|
