Does any have any input on the PSP Back up battery from here http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4186 I'm thinking of purchasing one just in case I don't have my charger around. Any downside on having this such as poor life span to the back up battery and barely holding a charge. Does any have any experience with this before?

after I hard-mod'd my slim battery I bought the Sony extended battery - it's great...

I think I get about 14 - 18 hours of playtime what with the extended battery and the UMD drive never spinning...

Thats sounds interesting. I was thinking about investing an extended battery for the slim. Did you increase your cpu speed and still getting around 14-18 hrs of battery life? The battery should still fit with original back cover as well right?

No, if you use the extended battery 2200Mah (fat batt) it will stick out, you need the extended battery cover for slim. thats what I use, but im currently using the 1800Mah fat batt. It makes one side of the psp slightly thicker than the other but its worth it and you get used to it.

Yeah, I run at 333 - and like the other dude said, it comes with a cover that fits (1 black one, 1 silver one).

it's quite nice knowing I don't absolutely have to charge my PSP but every 3 days
