    Do they work?

just say you use tm to go back to... 2.00, would the mph downgrader work?

or that psp virus that bricked psp's. i wanna dl it to scare my friend when he thinks he bricked my psp.
    then comes pandora.

Time Machine isn't a downgrader. It's pretty much an emulator for old firmwares, like 1.50 and 3.40OE. Time machine requires at least 3.90M33-3 to work.

What firmware is your friend on?

    nah, i meant something else.

both my psps are 4.01m33-2 (phat and slim, with an extra batt and ms for pandora.)

i meant like, using tm to emulate an old fw, and in that emulated state, would an older downgrader work?

ie; emulate 2.00 and use mph downgrader. will it affect the tm files on ms or nand?

and the second part was dling the psp virus that apparently bricked psp's, just for the sake of scaring some of my friends.

Everything that would touch flash0 and the nand in a real state, will touch them while in Timemachine. Don't use them as 95% of the time, you will brick. You are better off just flashing his PSP with DC7 for the sake of not bricking anything.

i just wanna try out some of the older downgraders, because i've only used the mph downgrader.

and half my point is to brick my old psp. are there any apps that do brick your psp?
like the old psp virus. but something that is recoverable anyway.

If it can touch your flash0 or nand, it can brick your PSP. And what's the point of using a TM firmware to mess around? Only option for Phats are 1.50 and 3.40 OE. 1.50 in which you can only downgrade to 1.00 but its hard to recover if you aren't careful, and 3.40 OE, a downgrader that won't even on to begin with....

is it bad always corrupting/re-writing to flash?

    No, it's not bad.

You've run one downgrader, you've run them all.
