    Cool Do you think 3000 could be hacked by X-mas?

    I hope it can because I probably plan on getting one by then since i currently no longer own a psp....

    PSP 1.5 got on USA first day is was 1.5 NOW 4.01 M33-2 -> 5.00 M33-6(1.50 addon),
    Old PS3s: PS3 60GB FW:3.41(2nd ps3 YLoD, 1st, YLoD)
    New PS3:
    Slim 160gb 01-21-2011 Working
    was 3.40 OFW->3.60 OFW

    2nd PSP : PHAT 5.50 GEN-D2
    3rd PSP : Sliver 3000 Starting OFW:4.20 (NEW bought NEW on 11/28/2010)
    It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

    No. I will say though, that if they ever do hack it, it will be on the release models only and it will have to occur before the end of 2009, otherwise just give up all hope

    Of course it will. Its probably gonna have the same protection as the new 2000 mobo's. The 2000's have probably already been hacked, there just not going to let SONY know until the 3000 is released.

    true the longer the hackers wait to release the new stuff the longer it tales for sony to fix up what we cracked
    I hope your right that they have an exploit for 2000s in their backpocket and will be ready to won sony with it on 3000

    i don't see a need for a 3000 series

    they dropped 2 models already and fucked up both times. Even if it is "Unhackable"...who's really gonna buy it? the system is 4 years old and there aren't too many developers HOT to produce titles anymore

    the whole thing would be a waste of time and money for Sony

    Everything is hacked eventually. This isn't a PS3, it can only have so much security and components. Why get it? First limited is gundam, and a DAMN good one compared to all 2000 limited editions.
