Default Updating my PSP (not software)

so right now i'm about to be coming into some late christmas money, and i'd like to beef up my old PSP.

I used to play it all the time and spend lots of time getting into its internals. Flash0 was my home away from home for a while. But its been collecting dust for months now.

I bought a newish PSP from a friend and threw my 4gb MS in it and my pandora-ized battery, along with the analog nub from my old PSP since the new one was missing it. Long story short, it ended up getting stolen out of my bookbag at school, and now i'm left with my 3 year old PSP with no battery and no nub. I haven't really played much it since. Without the nub and being tethered to the wall n all like a common caveman.

    Here's what i'm looking for--
--a battery. pandora compatible hopefully. not needed though.
    --an analog nub disk
--a new faceplate if its not too spendy
--New button rubber dealies (whatever they're called)

Any recommendations from online stores or real life stores as to where to buy? what should i look for in batteries? do they even sell phatty batteries anymore?

    I have another Q-
I'm also thinking about buying a slim (or MAYBE PSP3k) instead of upgrading my old one...
How much could i get for mine do you think? Its old, but only 1 dead pixel and minor scratches...I'm meticulous with my electronics

    thx

headlight burnt out? just get a new car!

lol. i'm a bloody jobless teenager with stingy parents. no thanks

I found a wicked cheap pandora/TOOL battery on dealextreme.com for 7 dollars with free shipping. thats ridiculous!! most other batteries looked hella sketch and were even more expensive. this tool battery has hundreds of customer ratings and 99% of them are "Perfect for modding" "great, works perfect" etcetera.

I also found a 16GB memory stick pro duo for 45 dollars and 8gb sticks for under 20.
I nearly shit bricks! I remember buying my 4gb MS for more than $50 a while back.
