Default can i pull off my nub?

I want to know if the analog nub is removable. I got this kit for my PSP which has these two pieces that look like alternate style nubs. I have a slim and it doesn't seem like the nub will come off. Don't wanna break it.

It's just glued on. I took mine off just to see if you can; I had to pull pretty hard but it didn't break

Wow, nice of you to try
Mine still won't come off. Is yours a phat?
I even tried prying a little with a screwdriver.

Twist, turn, and pull it in a way that would tear the adhesive, while not breaking the true nub(a little tiny that that SUCKS to break, but it's like fatter than it is tall, so you don't have to worry too much). I've removed it on a number of psp's.

I've never gotten the slim nub off, but the phat nub comes off easy.

LOL ............ Noooooooooooooooooo don't pull it off , On the Slim you need to remove the faceplate to get the nub off . This is one of the best things sony added to the PSP 2000 series because i buy/repair and sell old fat PSP's and 99% of the time they are missing the Nubs.

The faceplate will come off and the nub will still be attached to the PSP then you can remove the nub .... If you try to do it the other way round you will crack your faceplate .

Slim Nubs look like this :

as you can see the nub has a wide base to stop it from falling off
