    Default Homebrew recommendations please?

    So i need some help

I have a psp phat managed to get the firmware to 5.00 M33 without bricking it (I'm not sure how)
Now what? Can you guys recommend any software i should now get, shells etc. and how to install them. I'm trying to read the forum as much as I can, and use the info. that's already here, but don't want to destroy the thing before i get to enjoy it. Thanks in advance

    Mouse

Default two tuts to get you going...

try these two tutorials to get started, first thing i did after getting to 5.00m33-6 was to convert all my old ps1 games to psp eboots, the other link is for emulators, long live the classic games..

those should give you some good hours of play time.

    enjoy the cfw.

go into your system settings->system information to see your current firmware version

there is an update patch you can download on to your memstick and run to update.

give me a few minutes to find it and ill edit this post with it

Download the 1.50 addon corresponding to the firmware you have and copy the folder '1.50k_addon' to PSP/GAME150.

    http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1572

Download the 1.50 Update file rename to 150.PBP and put it in the root of your MS.

    http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/43

    run the file from XMB

the 150addon allows you to run older homebrews before cfw came out. most homebrews will run under 5.00m33 but a few real old ones were 1.50 only
