Talking [NEWS] PSP Go will support non game apps.

I think this may have a bi of an impact on the homebrew scene. Now you can get apps that run on your device out of the box. Something the PSP should have had from the beginning. Sony said that they will be reducing the price of PSP dev kits by 80%, but we have fared fine so far without dev kits, and I think the big thing will be porting all of the known homebrew.

Why are you posting this in the dev section? Should go in news or w/e.

A dev kit is a special PSP (and a few other things) that developers use to make PSP games. If the dev kits are cheaper more people can create legit apps for the PSP

Sad thing is Sony will steal all the apps we can get for free and start charging for them. It seems they are ripping the app idea off of the iphone.
