    Default Emulators that need upgrading

I've been waiting for awhile now for certain additions to emulators to no avail. There is still many things that could be added to some of them to better the experience. Im going to list some of the one's from my experience. If anyone wants to add some of there own suggestions please do. Im also going to list games on the emu that could use some work. It might just be me that isn't using the emu right.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nes(NesterJ 1.11)-had to switch to this because of issues with the other ones

-In the directory it will list your roms in alphabetical but when you get to the end some of them are listed afterward in alphabetical order too. It will go A-Z and certain other ones will be listed afterward. Mine goes (Twin Bee at the end of the list and it goes to Alfred the Chicken.)

    -Better sleep mode.

    Games with problems

    Battleship - won't load.
Earthbound - when your in the bar the game gives you a screen you can't get past. (It says that it's not a legal copy.)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Gameboy(Masterboy v2.02)

    -Needs fast forward and rewind.

    Games with problems

Emperor's New Groove - Scrambled Graphics
Sabrina Spooked! and Zapped! - Scrambled Graphics

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Snes(Snes9xTYLsmcm Test 5)

    -Needs fast forward and rewind.

-Has same problem as nes with the directory. Games go A-Z then repeat over with other games.

    -Better Sleep mode.

Games with problems (im going to list the ones that are slow for the most part)
Also i know about the chip that they use that makes it hard to emulate certain games.

    Chrono Trigger - some lag.
Donkey Kong Country 1-3 - some lag.
    Earthbound - some lag.
    Kirby Superstar - some lag.
    Mario Kart - some lag.
Radical Dreamers - Sometimes doesn't load and gets stuck on certain parts.
    Star Fox - Major lag.
Super Mario RPG - some lag.
    Tetris Attack - some lag.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Neo Geo Pocket(Race 2.16)

    -Needs fast forward and rewind

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Sega Genesis(Picodrive 1.35b R)

    -Needs fast forward

-Sound on certain games really need work

    Games with Problems

    Another World - intro flickers
    Ariel - Music sounds off
Pocahontas - Needs very specific version to run.
Ren and Stimpy - Graphics look off.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Mame(Mame4all v4.9r2)

    -Needs fast forward and rewind

-Needs serious overhall in graphics and sound in game

    -Needs better directory

-Needs to load game THEN give you the options to change it in a menu like most emulators

    -Needs a Menu in general

    Games with Problems

    (Most are just slow)

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Capcom Play System 1(CPS1PSP 2.2.5 Cheat WIP1)

    -Needs fast forward and rewind

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Capcom Play System 2(CPS2PSP 2.3.1)

    -Needs fast forward and rewind

-Needs cheat menu or dip switch like CPS1PSP

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    NEO-GEO(MVSPSP 2.3.1)

    -Needs fast forward and rewind

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    N64

    .....Too much to name

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Gameboy Advanced(gpSP mod 20090720)

    -needs fast forward and rewind

    Games with problems

All of the Retro series - Proably just can't emulate the graphics and you can play them with other emu's anyway.
Banjo Kazooie - A little bit after the intro the whole game starts over or freezes.
    Crazy Taxi - some lag.
Golden Sun 1 and 2 - Some lag in battle and occasionally get bad jumps
Kingdom hearts - Scrambled Graphics on cutscenes and freezes at beginning(There is a way around it.)
Super Monkey Ball Jr. - Crashes psp.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Triple Triad PSP

All this one really needs is more of a feel to it. Like when you start out with a basic deck and work your way up. Like you could stay at a certain level and if you feel your good enough with your current deck to beat the next level then you go from there. Gaining cards from wins. This is just more a personal preferance.

And as a final note certain things keep bugging me. For one thing the psp is a highly advanced piece of equipment. That being said some of the things it can't do and some of the things it can do don't add up. For example i would say the highest level(in like graphics and age) would be the psp games itself. Then Playstation Games, and so on and so on. What i mean is that how can the psp run playstation just fine but have problems with other stuff. Now before anyone says anything i do understand that the psp was NOT made to do this stuff in the first place, but they were able to work around problems. For some emulators it's just it doesn't have enough resources or the right equipment to handle emulaton of systems.

    I.E.

N64 - the n64 has equipment the psp doesn't have
Snes - the Snes has a chip that makes some games hard to emulate
Mame - Well, im not sure about this one but it seems something as simple as tetris is troublesome

Sega Saturn/Dreamcast/Playstation2 - for these i just believe the games are just too big for the system and the emulation would probably never be right.

Right now the main one i would like work done on is snes and n64 but that is just me.

Abandon all hope all ye who enter here

learn to code yourself, and start doing that stuff yourself?
either way, it's a good list of stuff, but i personally don't feel that emulators need the "rewind" function.
also most of the emus have a Fastforward function, it's called "turbo"

lmfao? the creators obviously know this. and do not comment on n64.
    Fat PSP: 1.50 OFW --> 2.80 OFW --> 3.50 OFW --> 3.80 OFW --> 3.90 OFW --> Pandora --> 3.71 m33 --> 3.90 m33 --> 4.01 m33 --> 5.00 m33-3
    Slim psp: 3.90 OFW --> Pandora --> Brick(Somehow?) --> DC v7 --> Still brick --> DC v7 format flash1 --> DC v5 --> 3.90 m33 --> 5.00m33-3

CPS2PSP needs button 3+6 = R trigger etc like MVSPSP
MVSPSP metal slug slowdown come on with it, Cache files? still? really? CPS2 doesn't need them anymore
MAME4all I'll take single game ports like Radiant Silvergun, this is hard enough on PC let alone PSP
Dreamcast emu will happen before Saturn has one game that loads intro, I've yet to see a Saturn port although the arcade hardware that saturn is based off of (mvs) is quite easier to do. Dreamcast emulation will start with cracking games like Crazy Taxi and Powerstone (yet again could be ports of the arcade versions ported to PSP rather than DC to PSP)

NesterJ v1.20 is an old beta. It was never ported to 3.xx kernel.

The latest and most stable is Takka's port, NesterJ 1.12 for 3.xx.

Fixes a freezing bug in 1.11 and issues with certain roms:
