    Default PSP anti-theft security?

I'm about to move out into my dorm in a couple of weeks, and I'm planning to take my PSP (train rides home are like 2 hours, so then I can have something to do while going home for the holidays). Anyway, obviously I'm not gonna leave my PSP out in the open. BUT, just in case, what are the best ways to keep my PSP secure? Are there any password systems? (ie a laptop with a bios password lock + windows password lock) or any type of key systems where the PSP won't function properly without the correct memory stick?

So wait, if someone stole a PSP, would they return it if they discovered that there was a password on it?
Same thing applies to a laptop really...

Default Maybe not but it could hamper them using it

I understand what he is thinking and it might not hamper them from stealing it but if at least they can't use it cause they are to dumb to find a way around the password at least you pissed off a thief.

You could just keep a MMS in a safe place, an a pandora battery in it. if it has a pandora Battey in and a Magic Memory Stick in, and you dont hold the button to go in to the TM menu, it just boots whatever is installed. then you can switch your MCs out. No MMS no boot! just make sure you turn it off fully.

if they didnt know shit about a psp, they wouldnt figure out what to do with it.

if anything it would help to prove its yours in case the authorities get involved.

stealing + using the lame ass authorities = not getting it back unless you document your whole fucking life.

and that only increases your chances from 1% to 2%.

    I'd sell it for parts.
Besides, you really don't know what the thief is thinking or doing - you can only guess.

I do recall seeing some password systems, but they are really designed to keep people out, not prevent stealing, lol...
