Default my psp turned on by itself =/

at around 3:50 am this morning, i was trying to get to sleep when all of a sudden my psp just magically tuned on by itself. it was on the night stand next to my bed, and i had turned it off (full power off, not sleep mode) about an hour and a half ago. and it just turned on by itself. it made the boot up noise and the main boot up logo came on and all that stuff.

    wtf?

    Using RSS feeds?

If you're using RSS feeds and have the RSS timer set, as long as the wlan switch is on, your PSP will power itself up (from a full power off) at the set time for updates.

If you have the RSS timer set but have the wlan switch turned off, your PSP will still power itself up, but will then automatically go into sleep mode since it can't connect for updates.

Maybe you have a softmodded pandora battery that you forgot to re-mod back to its regular state. This happened to me after someone used my PSP to flash their new one.
PSP: Gave it to my gf with 4.01 M33
CONDITION: 3rd-Party replacement faceplate and buttons, slight disrepair
