    Question 5.50 Gen-D

I realize that there are some topics with the same question, but I need specific answers. I have a psp 1000 with 5.00 m33-6 cfw, And I have a few homebrew applications like nesterj, Snes9xTYL, Homers Rin 3.3, gpSP mod, popsloader, cxmb with Custom themes that only work with my current firmware, PSP Filer, and Ultimate PSP Tube. My question is, will my psp and all of the applications mentioned, work after updating to the new firmware?

Most of them should work, the only thing that you should worry about is homebrew/emulators working with the 1.50 kernel, which 5.50 GEN-D does not have. You can still play them though using eLoader, time machine, or anything else similar. When upgrading, you need to turn off all your plugins, as well as convert your 5.00 custom themes to 5.50 ones.

Another few issues with GEN is that iRshell has problems, and there is no memory stick speedup option.

Ok so I am now at 5.50 GEN-D2, so far everything seems to work except for snes9xTYL. Any thoughts on how to fix that? I formatted the psp and that didn't really do much, so any help is greatly appreciated. Right now I'm just glad I was able to do this without bricking my psp.

How is it not working? I couldn't get any of the new releases to run on my phat with GEN-D, so I was forced to go back to an older version of the emulator.

I first had the issue dealing with the emulator crashing if you had more than 200 ROMs. Once that was apparently addressed, I tried again. I could then access my ROMs, but loading one up booted me back to the XMB. What problem are you having?

The usual "game could not be started" error after loading up the gameboot.

Is your "Game Folder Homebrew" set to 1.50?

You can also try using LEDA.
