Default how to clean PSP buttons

    Hi,
I have a PSP phat and I guess over time the buttons have got a bit dirty. Sometimes it feels like the L and R buttons are stiff/stuck. So my question is whats the best way to clean them?

I was thinking, maybe a bit of WD40 may help?

    Thanks for the reply iamafreak.

I think this guys got enough on his hands rather than making videos for youtube : )))))

I dont want to take the PSP apart though. Probably ok with WD40. I will take my time. Anybody else used WD40?

    Don't use WD40. It's a petroleum based lubricant.

It's not a good idea to use it on certain plastics, as it can eat through them, and it will also leave an oily residue that will just attract more dirt and gunk.

You don't want any of it getting inside your PSP either.

WD40 and printed circuit boards don't mix very well.

It could eat through the coating on a trace.
