    Default PSP 4000: Confirmed

    Check this out. Sony is terrible at keeping secrets. We got another one coming. The Go hasn't even been out three months and now we got a new model. The 4000. I also found another rumor. PS2 Emulation on the PSP. Right here. What does this mean for us hackers? How hackable does this look? FreePlay hacked the Go, we should find some sort of exploit for this model.

    See, thing is. The PSPGo! has had a ton of problems.

    It's not surprising.

    I know this one place in Austrailia pretty much downright boycotted the PSPGo!, because once they sell the console. The customer won't have to come back and buy games from the store. So, a cut in profits for the store.

    Plus, the lack of UMD drive has caused a lot of consumer problems. No used games, PSN is slow, etc. etc.

    I'd be more surprised if they came out with a PSPGo! N-2000 Model.

    I can see why they would do that.

    I don't think they meant actual ps2 emulation on the psp, i think it was meant through the ps3.
    Fat PSP: 1.50 OFW --> 2.80 OFW --> 3.50 OFW --> 3.80 OFW --> 3.90 OFW --> Pandora --> 3.71 m33 --> 3.90 m33 --> 4.01 m33 --> 5.00 m33-3
    Slim psp: 3.90 OFW --> Pandora --> Brick(Somehow?) --> DC v7 --> Still brick --> DC v7 format flash1 --> DC v5 --> 3.90 m33 --> 5.00m33-3

    Yeah, I don't think the PSP is capable of running PS2 games on it.

    Dont know why people are getting excited about this. Its hardly concrete evidence the PSP-4000 exists or is in development.

    They would need an extra analog stick for efficient PS2 emulation, so I dunno. I would think they would save that for the PSP2.

    Freeplay did not hack the PSPGo. Team C+D did.
    He stole ther exploit. Get your facts straight.

    And the first part of your thread already exists:

    Bluetooth and UMD drive in a psp = awesome (well, at least better than the go).

    Google is your friend.

    A picture which probably includes the 4000 because of an error, not because one is in development or is coming out soon
