Default Datel Lite Blue Battery, Does is really Works?

    Hello Everyone!

I been doing some research on the new Datel product. "Lite Blue Tool Battery".

According to them, this battery is able to putt the PSP 3000 in Service mode. This Souns Great....... But however! I was not able to find any video that demonstrate the battery actually doing the job.

Does anybody test it yet?? Does it really work??

    Thanks!

And the Datel Lite Blue Tool will never be released either. Sony sued Datel over the battery and won.

Ughhh. How did they catch them exactly? Design? I don't see how they'd have a case without some sort of copyright infraction. Modding isn't exactly illegal.

Yes it is technically. It violates the DMCA. Also when you isnstall the cfw you still have to agree with Sony's EULA and it basically says you will not mod it in anyway and a bunch of other bs. When you agree and then violate the agreement you technically break the law.

Hm, I never knew that. I figured Sony tried to get around directly suing them by suing them for copying the design of the battery itself.

But Datel doesn't make custom firmware, Datel's battery just puts the PSP in service mode. You're not modding the PSP in any way by just putting it in service mode.

If sony doesn't want them to do it and it's messing with their system they're going to try their damnedest to stop it.
