    can a 5.5v solar charger affect the psp battery which is usually a 5v battery?

    Plug it in and find out. The PSP battery is actually 3.6V just with a 5V charger.

    the psp should be able to tolerate 5.5 volts

    It looks pretty good, but you probably would have to carry around that with your psp. If it was a case for psp, that would be really good!
