Default I decided on a psp projector over a ps3

Hey all. I had been contemplating whether or not to buy a portable projector for my PSP or go get a PS3 and decided on the projector. I'm just checking if what I did makes sense to anyone else? Here's why, I just bought my PSP used last week for a pretty good price and it came with several games. I only had a few hundred dollars left to spend which was enough for a PS3 but I wasn’t going to be able to handle everything that goes with getting another new system. I unfortunately don’t have a decent tv, mine is super old, and I would have to get even more games for the PS3. I figured that with all the games that came with my PSP I could just use the projector like a big screen TV and I can take it with me anywhere I go.

Projector Stats: the projector is next to the psp above

My PSP came with a couple movies as well. I actually thought I would never buy movies for it since it seemed like a waste of money but now that I can watch them on my projector I am actually pretty excited. There are lots of used movies for pretty cheap. I took a pic of the Cowboy Bebop it came with. The projector is made by aaxa tech. I know, it might not have been the smartest decision. But I think that when I save up again I can get the PS3 and use it with my projector too instead of getting a new tv and this way I get more use out of the PSP. Plus it’s just cool being able to play games and watch movies on a huge screen wherever I go.

These new pocket projectors are amazing. I've seen videos of people getting 50"+ screens out of them with the lights turned down... would make for a great way to do small presentations or sharing movies without needing to plug anything in.

I hadn't got a clue that mini projectors even existed before this thread.

    Sounds like a good investment

This would also be a great way to get a big screen display in a kids room/area without risking damage to a $2000 flat screen

They can connect to almost anything
    http://www.aaxatech.com/products/p2_pico_projector.htm
Inputs : VGA, RGB, iPod, PSP, PDA, DVD input
You might require special cables for some of them.
For example you will probably need to buy a TV Out cable for the Ipod to connect to it.
