    just signed up to the forums after stumbling upon this website. so what exactly is an ISO and is it possible to put these on the PsPgo? i have version 6.20 software. thanks in advance

    in psp land its basically an image of a UMD disc. more details here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_image

    and no they wont run on a GO

    An ISO is a disc image (copy). An ISO can be of anything... PSP games (UMD), PC games, PS2 games, DVD movies, XBOX games, etc. It's just an exact image of what is on the original disc.

    But no, it does not work on the PSP Go with 6.20 software.

    The furthest you're going to go on the PSPGo at the present time is the HBL, or Half Byte Loader. This requires firmware 6.20 or down. If you updated to 6.30 you're out of luck.

    It will allow you to launch some homebrew (user made applications and games) and emulators (play games from other systems, eg SNES, NES, Sega).
