Haven't been active in homebrewing for a year, help me get back on track!
As the topic says.
I haven't touched my psp for a year since my screen broke, but I now have a new screen.
I currently have 4.01 CFW on my PSP-2000.
Should I get a Pandora battery and upgrade?
How difficult is it to upgrade?
Should I buy a premade memory-stick or do it myself?
How is it going with playing games?
Have someone finally figured out how to play Invizimals using the Go!-camera?
Can we play 6.xx games yet?
Sorry for having so many questions, but it would be of great help if I could get them answered. :3
To install 5.50 GEN-D3, download the files from the link above. Extract them to your memory stick. Start the updater from GAME on the PSP.
Instructions for 5.50 Prometheus are similar and posted in that link. This allows you to play 6.xx games. No Pandora battery needed.
But, what more does happen?
I mean, I got some homebrew games, what will happen with them?
How about custom themes and such?
Can I play older games with this?
EDIT: I forgot, do I have to make backup on everything I have on the memstick?
Will those things dissappear?

If you want to make a backup of the memory stick, connect the PSP to your computer and copy all of the files from the memory stick to a folder on your desktop (memstickbackup or something). You don't have to backup the memory stick though - all your files will still be there.
All homebrew should still work fine unless you're using old 1.50 kernel homebrew. Some old game saves might not work on 5.50 GEN-D3. But, if you don't have any game saves or don't care about the game saves, this is no problem. If the saves do corrupt, just downgrade to 5.00 M33-6 using Hellcat's Recovery Flasher 1.60.

Alright, I tried it just now.
When I start it, the screen just goes black, and then shuts off, nothing has happend.
EDIT: I have also, from when I got the PSP and was a total noob, overwritten the flash0-theme with a custom theme.
I've tried to restore the flash0-files by reinstalling the firmware with hellcats recover tool, but I just get errors.
Don't know if that's good to know.
Disregard this post.
I just forgot the .PBP's.
Everything works now, thank you so much!

Sorry for double post.
I forgot an important thing that you didn't answer about.
I have a PSP Go! cam (450), but it doesn't work.
I googled around a bit, and saw that someone had added compability with the 5.00 m33 firmware.
Is it worth it to downgrade to that?
Downgrade to 5.00 M33-6 using Hellcat's Recovery Flasher.
Just use the M33_620 plugin after that to play the latest games.
