    Lightbulb PSP Slim + MacBook Pro + Windows 7 + PS3 Controller + Optoma Projector = lol

I was bored today so I took the time to connect my PSP to my friends 1080p projector and play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite with the PS3 controller, dual joysticks! how that game is meant to be played!

    I used:
    - PSP Slim 2001 running 5.50 GEN-D3
    - RemoteJoyLite v0.19
    - DS3 Tool
    - 2 USB to mini USB cables
    - Male to Male Headphone Jack (3.5mm)
    - PS3 Controller
    - Dual Boot MacBook Pro running Windows 7
    - mini DVI to HDMI Connector
    - HDMI Cable
    - Optoma Projector

After a bit of trial and error I got it all to work together!
pretty funny that it worked with all the odd steps and connectors.
anyways, just wanted to share the pointless project I did today haha
    ____________________________________________________________________________

    Tutorial:
    Supplies you will need:
    -Hacked PSP
(I'm using a PSP 2000 running 5.50 GEN-D3, but I bet it could work with any CFW)
    - Computer Running Windows
(I'm using windows 7, but I bet XP or Vista would work fine)
    - Projector with HDMI Port
(My friend has a Optoma Projector with a receiver connected to it)
    - PS3 Controller
    - HDMI Cable
    - 2 USB to Mini-USB cables
(1 for the PSP and 1 for the PS3 Controller)
    - Male to Male Headphone Jack (3.5mm)

    Programs:
    - RemoteJoyLite v0.19
    (I'm using v0.19 because I think v0.20a runs a bit slower...)
    - MotionInJoy

    Install:
    - Install PS3 Controller:
    http://www.hardcoreware.net/how-to-p...ndows-7-vista/

    - Install RemoteJoyLite:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvcYVPgkmtY

Sound + configure controller + Play:
For the sound plug your Male to Male Headphone Jack into your PSP then into your Microphone port on your computer.
Then go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound
Go to the tab labeled "Recording", then click on Line In, then Properties.
Go to the "Listen" tab, then check the box "Listen to this device"
    Sound DONE!

    Now to map the controller,
in the RemoteJoyLite settings go to the "Joy" tab, and with each box click and hold down the mouse, then hold down the button on the controller, then release the mouse.

For Monster Hunter Unite, I wanted the use of the Joystick and the D-Pad, so I held down the "Arrow Up" and pushed up on the joystick. This allowed me to have both functions.

Lastly, full screen RemoteJoyLite on your computer, connect the projector to your computer, then BAM, playing your PSP games on a 8ft x 5ft projector with a PS3 controller with dual joysticks ;D

I updated the first post to have a quick little step by step.

    Hope that helps!

I really just did it "because I could" haha, its fun and all, and surprisingly everything works together! I just wish I could use Xlink Kia with RemoteJoyLite and I wish some how the controllers rumble worked....

I have a real hate on for projector units. The bulbs they use don't last nearly long enough and they are EXPENSIVE 0_0. Hopefully we will see more LED projectors in the future with longer bulb life!

But other than that, that is pretty awesome.
