Default using a flash drive with the psp

as the title mentions, this idea always seemed enticing to me if the psp could support 'usb mass storage devices' as i'm in no short supply of large flash drives however, everytime i googled it, i found that the psp isn't technically capable of acting as a usb host - only as a slave - so i never pursued the idea further. however, the camera option under the photo section on the xmb recently caught my attention. i had seen it many times before but i suppose i never really thought about it. in order to use a camera as an external attachment, wouldn't the psp HAVE to act as a usb host. doesn't that mean that, with the right "drivers" (maybe as a prx to some cfw), the psp could theoretically also accept flash drives as storage instead of memory sticks?

You can use a Bi-Directional OTG USB hard drive enclosure.

The Witchain SPS allows you to play directly from the HDD.
