    Default Question about RAM

Sorry if this is in the wrong section....
So I want to get a new PSP to replace the one I broke several years ago...
I've never had a PSP-3000 and a microphone and better screen don't seem worth getting something that may be unhackable.. And the PSPGo I just dislike how it was designed, so the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 are left.. And Im leaning towards the PSP-1000 because I still have a Pandora battery, I like playing 1.50 Homebrew, and I like the IR Port though:

The PSP-1000 has 32MB of RAM and the PSP-2000 has 64-MB of RAM. Are there any PSP, PSX, Homebrew that will be hindered by the lack of RAM?

Homebrew possibly, but I haven't heard of any (official) PSP/PSX game which specifically gets hindered on the PSP-1000.
Probably also the webbrowser gets affected (don't have anything but a PSP-1000 here), but if you're not using it, it won't bother you.

As far as I knew there were a few homebrew apps that will take advantage of the extra RAM. Gotube and a few of the emulators will if able. Outside of that, there isn't really an advantage between the 1000 and 2000/3000, except for the caching features on the Pro-B7 that do take advantage of the extra RAM.

Even the web browser in xmb doesn't use the extra ram(afaik).
Would I sound realistic if I told you my life?

    I don't think so.
