PWADs?

Ok with the new Doom for PSP there seems to be something about PWADs. What are they? I have never heard of these. And how are they different from normal WAD files?

It is like an iso or rom, I believe.
But built for the doom engine.

I tried a goldeneye mod and it didn't work, that was a while ago though.
If you get some to work, let me know which ones.

The golden eye WAD does work.
So does the counter strike and half-life modded ones.

With this doom just press X on the golden eye wad then press start and it should load.
It was a Gp32x mod.

i did, it was months ago with the old version, i just simply reneamed it DOOM2.WAD, thats all

but on this new versiopn can u still use the regular WADs?
