I am going to buy a modchip for my psp and wondered about a few thing's before i buy it.

Does the PSP crash more with tha modchip like it did on PS2...
and is it someone that know where i can buy a cheap/inexpensive chip to norway?

the Chip they sell in norway is for $121.74 and that's not very cheap:P

em.... only buy the modchip if u've just brick ur PSP, or u have a non TA-082 mobo PSP that hav a 2.80fw+ on it.

the modchip won't work in TA-082 board. Oh ya! and the newest TA-086 too :)

from ur signature. most probally u hav a non TA-082 PSP :) go ahead if u can pay tat. :)

the cheapest price u can get should be $99, the price is on the official modchip site. :) it's expensive i know, but tats the simple truth.

so i can install it ^^

mine's in the mail now. i'm getting it so i can run the official ps1 emulator along with homebrew and stuff.

the only problem is that i don't know how to solder. so, i'll just ask my dad's friend (who's an electrician) to do it for me.

1)3.0 doesn't work with the modchip (so i've heard)
2)ps1 emulator requires ps3

3.0 doesn't work with the modchip, but can 3.0 be flashed to the NAND chip in the PSP, and the modchip used to remove it?
