xflash fixed my umd drive??

Ok guys this shit is crazy!! for some reason my umd drive is working after i used xflash17b...... all i did was have it flash all black backgrounds, and disabled the network update.. went back into the xmb and now for some reason it picked up the disc i had in the drive.. . and it just keeps working!!!!!!!!!! this is the shit now i just hope it aint some wierd shit going on, because i know for a fact this umd drive was broke and it's been broke for over 3 months. fucker wouldnt read nothing at all.. i almost chucked it one day.. but anyway thats my story and i'm stickin to it, believe it or not, i'm just syaing..

maybe you edited/flashed a file that skipped the umd-reading part and x-flash restored it?

[yes, i got no clue what i'm talking about, but at least my bullshit is somewhat believable =P ]

anybody got a broken umd drive that wont even let you get the door closed before it has an error might wanna try this.. all i know is i got 3 psp's that all work now and i',m happy as a mofo

Now that u mention it actually, the strangest thing happened after I flashed a background onto all 12 months, suddenly my 1.5 firmware PSP could play Burnout Legends as well as LocoRoco and Ridge Racer 2 Demos. Strange ? I wasn't convinced and I checked the system software version... It was 1.50. Don't believe me ? I couldn't much believe it myself.

Now that you mentioned it, I tried downgrading a TA-082, but instead, it sprouted legs and started running away from me... :O :(

back OT - i can't believe xflash could solve a broken umd drive but if its working again then it doesn't matter how it resolved its self!

Why should he lie? That we try it and brick our psp? Then he'll laugh, or what? BULLSHIT. I believe him, cuz nobody understands the randomness, and he wouldnt have anything good resulting from liyng at us...
