I'd suggest thinking about it and looking around a little bit more before you buy a go. I traded in my old 2000 which was still under warranty for a gift card, I chose to get the psp go over the wii. I only had to spend $50 of my own money for the go, but I'm still beginning to regret it. I don't think that the go will ever be homebrew enabled, which sucks because I was really looking forward to some applications that utilized the bluetooth, such as for data transfer, or dual shock 3 use directly in emulators.

Again, look around a bit before you go and spend the $250. It's a nice system, but if you don't have an older model psp that can run homebrew already, I'd say it's not worth the risk of it never being hacked.

Also, another thing to remember is, which I didn't know, if you have an old psp and memory cards you used for that, they WILL NOT FIT in the Psp go, it takes a new type of card called the M2 I believe.

Oh, alright. That's not so bad. As long as you have a previous model, the go is worth it. I'm going to forewarn you though that if the go has 3 games preloaded onto it, when you sign into your own account on the psp go, it will disable those games. I believe this is due to the new licensing crap they introduced. I'm not 100% sure this will happen, but when I tried putting a Japanese demo on the psp go from my Japanese account, it told me that it would deactivate my other demos because they were downloaded on a different account. Of course, I have no way to test if they were actually deactivated because I'd have to update to OFW 6.20 to do so.

Good luck, and maybe if you are quick, you can sign onto the PSN before they stop the "1 free game for buying a PSPgo" offer. I think it ends today, or tomorrow.
