CFW as OFW
Hey guys, i was thinking, how about making an CFW, that installs without a magic mem stick or pandora batt? :
What about tricking the PSP it is a update (6.37 to 6.38), but not an Official Update, an Custom Update, wich will install a custom firmware, Signed cause i saw the non-signed doesn't work... Who's with me? crypto_fro@live.com
(OFF TOPIC : I had CFW, but i let my 9-years old play on my desk at the company i am working, and he hitted "Network Update" and now i have 6.37 OFW, I should use condoms from now on, lol)

Man I would HATE that if it happened to me.
Tsk tsk...Little Children are such a hard case...

he said CFW so theres a possibility it can be downgraded back to his old version?

You at this time will fail, Unless you happen to be ahead of everyone I know and can actually package and sign a firmware update.
Oh and when it does become possible, you wont need to trick the psp into thinking anything other than that this is a signed executable. Once kernel mode signing is possible the methods of something like recovery flasher are much better then trying to modify an official update.
As far as your particular case. If you don't wish to spend a few bucks just wait 6.37 will probably be exploited soon enough. Not to guarantee the latest recovery flasher will work or that anything else will come out but probably.
