HELP!!: Vista Ult. won't find my PSP

hi...

got a rather weird and serious problem.
i have vindows vista ultmiate edition (which sucks yeah)
and i was just trying to put some music in my psp. and i put in the cable set to USB mode.
and it says installing. i choose it to find the drives for itself... everything goes well. until the end of the installation when it says that it didnt install cuz' of a malfunction or something. so now i cant put files in my psp. which sucks too.

anyone that has the same problem and hopefully someone that has a solution?... im in desperate need. you know =)...

anyone?.... i really don't know whats wrong.... (and yes i have used the search tool. but i couldn't find anything)

do u happen to have a card reader? if so, does it show whats in there? maybe u can copy all the folders and stuff on ur mem card, don't forget hidden files, then format the memory card with the pc, and paste everything back in, it might work, with vista u never know, lol.
