I need help upgrading my psp 3.90 M33-2

I hacked my psp a long time ago and current firmware I have on it is 3.90 M33-2. I don't know any of the new stuff related to hacks any more. I hacked my psp and then kind of stopped caring about the newer firmwares. But now I'd like to update to the latest custom firmware, whatever it may be. Could anyone tell me how I can do that? Simple noob-based instructions would be nice since I don't really know much about this stuff.

Oh also, I have the oldest psp (the fat one but the second model that was released) if that makes a difference

the kernel addon has the 1.50 kernel, it mostly for homebrew stuff.
