Trouble with pandora battery / installing cfw
Hey guys, My Pandora battery finally came in, I picked up one of these because I wanted a stronger battery with battery life and it seemed pretty cool that you could flip pandora on and off on the fly. I got the one with the 512mb stick just so I could use it to flash cfw. Alright so I don't know if the battery is not working or if the stick is faulty, but I cannot get my psp to load once I insert the pandora. I am using a GOW-ed-SLIM-PSP (red).
So I used PSP grader 8 to make a magic ms, and then I tried to boot it with the pandora. My problem is that I cannot get it to boot. This is my understanding of the process, please correct me if I am wrong, so I make the mms with my psp through usb connection with a normal battery then I turn off the psp and take out the stick then the battery and then reinsert the mms, next I put my battery in pandora mode, and hold the L trigger on the psp while I insert the battery, the power LED flashes for around 1-2seconds then fades. I try again without holding L and get the same result. Next I tried without the mms and used the pandora and it held green for more than 10secs, it will hold green until I pull the battery or insert a stick, if I do try to insert a stick it fades abruptly. So i figured that the mms was not made correctly so I tried again and then again with the old rain's ultra lite mms, yet I still had no luck.
I am now wondering what the problem is. Is it that the pandora battery is not functioning correctly or is the memory stick faulty. I know I don't have the 88v3 mobo because my psp is the GOW ed.
Is there something I am doing wrong? Or is there something else I can try? Any ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

It makes no difference, SONY has upgraded the PSP GOW edition and the newer models has a TA-0883 motherboard. So that could be the problem... Either remake the Memory stick with Rains Ultra Light magic memory stick maker or Re-make memory stick with PSP grader...

I am not exactly sure what you mean by SONY has upgraded the GOW-ed, but I got it functioning now and the psp is currently installing cfw. The problem was the memory stick. It was faulty or corrupt. I went down to my local wally world and bought a 2gb sandisk for around 12$. I formatted it in the psp then made the stick magical with PSPgrader v8. When I tried the pandora it worked the first time. So... BEWARE of www.pandorasales.com they gave me a bad memory stick and they could do it to you as well. The pandora battery itself looks like it is working fine but the memory stick is trash. Oh well, anyways, cfw yay!

I'm happy for you, Good Luck!
