Will I brick it?

Hi guys,

Just bought a new psp 3000 and upgraded to standard 6.00 firmware. No custom firmware involved. I downloaded metal gear solid from the playstation store and it works fine. I also downloaded resident evil 3 from a torrent and xferred the file to the same folder as MGS. The file is an eboot. When I go to the game/memory stick section of my psp I see both games and RE3 looks like it will work perfectly as though I bought it(it shows an animation and the wallpaper changes to the big ugly dude).

Is this something overlooked in the new official sony firmware or will I brick my psp if I run the game?

RE won't work on official firmware. Homebrew and illegally obtained games never did..

It won't brick your PSP, it just won't launch.
