press select - vsh meny appears - change umd iso mode to m33 driver or sony np9660
if that doesn't work , what games are you trying to play ?

first i tried fnal fantasy dissidia (eu), which worked
disgea 2, only with the same error message
the third one was metal gear solid - portable ops , psp turns itself off

disgea 2 require ofw 5.55+, so the iso has to be patched first.. check this video on how patch newer games which need 5.55+ ofw: (4th video)
