3 psp problems, please help

when i press select at the xmb for the vsh menu if i try exit either by pressing select or by going down to exit the vsh freezez and i have to restart to do anything, and when im in games and i want to leave i press home but caant to move to the yes option and have to go to the recovery menu to get back to the xmb, and i think this must be related to how all of a sudden my start button isent working, when i press it on anything that can be activated by pressing the start buttin it doesent work. this also interfece when i try and play games becazuse most say press start to continue. ive tried the recovery menu option "format flash 1 and reset settings" and ive tried updating my firmware they both did nothing. (im on 5.00 m33)

i cant use hellcat because after it loads it freezez and wont let me do anything

zafz ive already tried to use key cleaner but it said there was nothing wrong with any of the buttons, and ryu, disabling vsh will make hellcat work?, i would just try and see what happens, but someone on a diffrent fourm said that updating to 6.20 ofc then re updating back to cfw with mms and pandora might help so im doing that and have yet to update back to cfw

Key Cleaner does not know all of the keys, only some.

I doubt OFW will help. Plus whoever said that is not very knowledgeable since reflashing CFW means wiping the previous FW and writing whole new FW to the PSP. Nothing pretty much from the old FW is left. Going to OFW is an extra step that is not needed.

ok, well i have a psp 2002 witch now has ofc 6.20, now that it has ofc 6.20 can i just go ahead and hack it using a mms and pandora battery without downgrading to a lower ofc? though i dont even know if downgrading to a lower firmware can be done on a none hacked psp.

What do you think the pandora and MMS are for? They are for downgrading or installing CFW. There is no other way to downgrade 6.20, only pandora and MMS will work.

What I was saying in my earlier post was that you did not have to go to 6.20, you could have just used the pandora and MMS while still on your CFW. Doesn't matter now.
