Default Digimon World 3 crashed and get "unable to start game" error 8000004

I am running 5.03 Gen-C on my PSP 2000 v3. I followed all the instructions on how to get PSX games to run on PSP using Popsloader. Yes, I even used the PSX on PSP compatibility guide (http://www.gamerspress.com/index.php...atibility_List). I got the Digimon World 3 eboot file placed properly and changed the game ID accordingly and ran using pops 3.71. And so I played fairly deep into the game. However, once I reached a certain area called "Circuit Board", my PSP froze and the screen stayed black. After a while it turned off. When I restarted everything (running HEN and 5.03 Gen-C) and selected the Digimon World 3 game, the Playstation "PS" logo did not even appear and instead returned me to the menu with the "unable to start game error: 8000004". I tried redling the game and converting to Eboot and everything, but still the same error. Is there a solution to this? I heard that the freezing cases in the "Circuit Board" area was fairly common but I did not expect it to break the game and render it useless like this... Kindly advise.

    Default "solution"

oh nvm, I got it to work now. turns out my save file got corrupted after the crash and I had to delete the save files. Now the game works properly except that my game progress is now all gone T.T
