Default Saving issues with mh gpsp kai 3.2

    Quick Info:

    *PSP 3K OFW 6.20
    *GBA BIOS Installed
    *NES/SNES Emus working/saving Fine
    *Emulator Used: mh_gpspkai 3.2 GBA

I've tried using Google for an answer, but it's a convoluted mess full of outdated links..Anyways saving, at first, seemed to work fine, (Save States AND In-Game) but now it all deletes after I exit.

For some odd reason only Save State Slot 10 would save and load.I might as well also mention how sometimes after all that the game select menu will go blank. Any fix or better Ver?

    Link?

By the way, I tried using an in game save made in Visual Boy and copied it to gpsp and it stays. But when I exit and return, its back to the same save as when copied.

    Worth a shot. =/

Also got Homer's RIN working. So I'm sure it's the emulator not me.

Really hoping someone knows of a reliable version or some fix.

Are you using Half-Bye Loader to get these emulators running or what?
    If so, try using this.

Not sure what the problem is. Is that the emulator from my tutorial about the HBL? I'm using that exact same one and it works fine. Which games are you playing? Does it do it with all games? Or have you only tried one game?

What I would do if I had this problem: I would download the emulator, the bios, and the games again. I would format the memory stick with the PSP and then copy the new files to my PSP.

    @ TheEvilOne

Yeah, Im on Rev85. Forgot to mention. I'll try that one. Much appreciated.

    @ OrganizedChaos

I believe I found the emu @ the AdvancedPsp compatibility list. All the games run perfectly and the saving problem is with all of them. Some examples are Summon Knight: ST 2, LOZ Minish Cap, Mother 3, MM Zero 1-4.

Some places say stick with games below 16mb but they run fine. I cant save with even 8mbs.

Well I'll try theEvilOnes suggestion first and post the results.

    @ Organized_Chaos

So I re-extracted the files from the zip files and replaced everything.

I noticed the filesize of the other text file was different. (Not the readme obviously but the only other one in the root of the zip)

    Working fine.

EDIT: The antics are up again...

Is your memory stick MagicGate:Supported? Go to photos or music or videos or something and go to the memory card. Instead of pressing X to open the memory card press Triangle. If it says Unknown or Unsupported that very well could be the cause of your problem.

You say you re-extracted the files. Did you also re-download them? Maybe you just got a bad download the first time by accident.
