Button / Text issues

So i have a PSP slim 2000 (Dark Vader) and for a long while now i've been having this irratating problem, none of my buttons work except the sound light menu and such home doesn't really work sort of hangs. I have already tried disabling VSH MENU through the recovery mode thingy or whatever it is ( hold R Trigger powering up it allow me to move but I notice my text to jig out on me opens and closes also when i try to play games i get the sound and the screens and such but i can't get pass the menu like i can move up and down selecting each option but the square triangle and circle buttons don't work.

I have already tried switching over to a OFW since i heard it sometimes fixes things but the text problem still remains i haven't tried playing a game yet but i would like it completely back to normal so i work around on the web and set up my wifi net on it.

I think it might be hardware related but i don't know how exactly to open it correctly and what screwdrivers to use or what to fix/replace and how to do so if possible i'd appericate any help at all

Also if it helps the CFW i was on was 5 M33-6. I switched over to OFW 5.03

It sounds like a hardware problem to me but I'm not sure. Try using the search I think there are already help topics with this problem mentioned.

alright from what I found in search it could be hard ware something about the HOME/VOL/SELECT/START buttons. So one last thing can someone point me in the right direction where i could find these buttons at for a good price (i'm from Canada) and i thought i saw a sticky which shows how to repair psp's but i toke a glance and i don't see anything about button repair so if someone could confirm this or point me in the direction fo a good guide
